Sinuses - #001
Dear Dr. Gehring:

I would just like to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU! Prior to my first treatment with you I had been plagued with continuous sinus infection and various and sundry other debilitating illnesses. After only a few short visits, not only have I noticed decreased issues with my fibromyalgia, energy levels and overall general well being, but for the first time in too many years to even count I can actually BREATHE!!!! I no longer have any issues with my sinuses, I can smell (which I don't even remember how long it has been since I could smell anything!) and I sleep through the night as I am not continuously waking to take a drink of water due to the horrible snoring in my sleep! I have lived with the issues with my sinuses for so long I had completely forgotten what it was like to NOT have a sinus infection! I have spent years on antibiotics, even did a 'long term' antibiotic trial in an effort to alleviate the problems.....all to no avail. I cannot even begin to verbalize how liberating it feels NOT to have ANY issues at all now.

Your treatments have been so significant in my life and made such a huge difference that as we continue I just want more and more, because with each treatment I notice something new that "feels better" than it has in many years. Tennis Elbow (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) - #002

My name is Yolanda Smelser and I would like to tell you how I have received relief from back pain.

About a year and three months ago I was in severe pain from spinal stenosis and spondlythesis. I was at work one day and bent down to pick something up and was unable to stand back up. I had been seeing a spinal specialist who recommended back surgery. He stated that it was a drastic measure but that when I couldn't stand the pain I would have no other choice. At that time I was unable to move without severe pain. I had to use a cane or crutches and was unable to stand erect. I had lost my enthusiasm for living and found everyday tasks impossible to perform. I couldn't turn over in bed without help. Using the bathroom without assistance was impossible. Bathing and showering were grueling experiences. I am a woman in my fifties in otherwise good health, and I could not see myself living like this for the rest of my life. I did see a pain specialist who treated me with epidurals, which did help. But, you can only receive the injections three times a year, and they would wear off rather quickly. At that time my daughter recommended acupuncture, since she had heard many people get relief from pain. She was able to contact Dr. Constance Gehring and I began seeing her on a weekly basis. That was approximately seven months ago. I have gotten such relief from the back pain and sciatica that I am no longer on an anti depressant or pain medication. I rarely have to take Advil or Motrin. I believe without her treatment I would have been forced to have surgery. I have become such an advocate of acupuncture that I have asked for help with other health issues as well. I suffer from chronic allergies and asthma and I believe that my overall health has improved. I will continue to seek help for my pain issues and believe that I will have continued success with Dr. Gehring's help.

My life has been plagued for years by food and pollen allergies. When I first went to see Dr. Constance Gehring, I was recovering from another bout of allergy-induced bronchitis which had been preceeded by a year of off-and-on episodes of croup. Dr. Gehring started the NAET (allergy elimination) process with me and I have experienced tremendous improvement in my overall health condition, including immune system function and mental outlook. Dear Dr. Gehring:

My name is Lynda Gonzales. Back in May 2008, I had 2 saliva glands removed, due to blockage. The doctor who did the surgery told me that he would most likely hit some nerves, for it was almost impossible to avoid them. I really didn't think much about it at the time, but after the surgery was completed and about 2 weeks after the follow up, I found that I had no taste buds, plus my tongue was burning severely. I called the surgeon and went back into see him. He told me that he was sure that he had hit a nerve and time would tell about how long it would take the nerve to heal. I went to see another doctor to get a second opinion and he told me the same thing. He game me a prescription for dental paste to put on the tongue which did not do anything but make a mess in my mouth. I called Dr. Constance Gehring and she began treating me with the tiny hair like needles as well as Chinese herb medications and ay God Bless Dr. Gehring she has taken a lot of the pain away. I think that I have had 4 treatments and the burning of the tongue has subsided quite a bit. I believe in acupuncture completely. The wonderful thing about acupuncture is there are no side effects, like from some prescribed medication that the medical doctors give you. Those tiny hair like needles that Dr. Gehring uses are not as bad as some mosquito bites that I have had. I would say that overall acupuncture is a great tool to use. In certain areas of the health world all the oriental people have used it for hundreds of years. Dr. Gehring is very well trained in the art of acupuncture. She has that special touch. Dr. Gehring also has a good line of Chinese herbal medications that she offers. I would recommend Dr. Gehring to anyone who would be interested in the treatment of acupuncture.
